Peterbilt Pride: Fraser's Pro Home Centre
Peterbilt Atlantic customers are local, hard-working companies from across Eastern Canada. For nearly four decades, Fraser's Pro Home Centres have proudly served the building supply needs of Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley. Owner Paul Parsons was kind to take a moment to share some insight into his business with us.
How many years have you been active?
38 years. We’ve got five locations in the area - Kentville, Berwick, Kingston, Bridgetown and Annapolis Royal.
What changes have you seen in your industry?
One interesting thing is that we have actually seen prices go down on many items that we sell. More importantly than a low price however, today’s customers are seeking high quality products backed by outstanding service.
How many years have you been operating Peterbilt trucks?
We bought our first new one in 2012.
What do you like about Peterbilt trucks?
The quality. The design. The image.
What do you like about Peterbilt Atlantic?
Buying local is very important to me. Good service. Peterbilt Atlantic is right there for me when needed. I don’t like to chase people and the salesman is always available.
Favourite place to grab a meal on the road?
I like to eat at golf courses actually. Berwick Heights and Paragon Golf Club are a couple of my favourites. The Crossing in Kingston is a new restaurant I enjoy.
Favourite view on the East Coast?
The view of the Annapolis Valley from North Mountain. Can’t beat it.
