Jun. 23 2017 People By Craig Allen

Peterbilt Atlantic customers represent the most successful & innovative companies in Eastern Canada. Jeff Clarke's family have operated Southview Farms in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia for generations. If you want to talk eggs, few know more about what's cracking than Jeff. Jeff was kind enough to share his thoughts about his industry with us.

Tell us a bit about your business:

We are egg farmers. We grow our own pullets and ship our own product. We cover everything from the feed mill through to the end product.

How many years have you been active?

We have been farming here in Woodville, Annapolis Valley for five generations.

What changes have you seen in your industry?

The long hours never change but the business definetly has. Customers want flexiblity and seek custom solutions. We strive to give our customers want they want. We feel we are a good size to be able to adapt swiftly to the needs of the marketplace.

How many years have you been operating Peterbilt trucks?

Since 2005.

What do you like about Peterbilt trucks?

We like the build of the unit. The look of each is unique. They aren't cookie cutter - not Lego. Great service too.

What do you like about Peterbilt Atlantic?

We like the long term relationship we have along with the access to expertise.

Favourite place to grab a meal on the road?

Very loyal to Irving Big Stops.

Favourite highway view on the East Coast?
