Peterbilt Pride: Windcrest Farms

James Kinsman operates Windcrest Farms just outside of Berwick, Nova Scotia. Windcrest Farms offers dairy and grain products across Eastern Canada. Trucks from Peterbilt Atlantic are an important component of their trucking operations. We caught up with James on a fall morning to learn a bit more about Windcrest Farms. 

How long have you been active?

15 years.

What is your core business?

Dairy & grain. We haul agricultural products throughout Atlantic Canada and into Quebec. 

How many years have you been operating Peterbilt trucks?

3 years.

What do you like about Peterbilt trucks?

Our drivers like them.  Quality trucks attract quality drivers. Peterbilts are not cookie cutter trucks and we don’t want cookie cutter drivers. 

What do you like about Peterbilt Atlantic?

Great sales service from Harley in Kentville. The Moncton service department will always fit us in when travelling by. 

Favourite place to grab a meal on the road?

The drivers like Murray’s Irving in Woodstock. Murray’s seems to really care about their customers.
